In Uncategorized on June 2, 2011 at 3:05 pm

The contest is over and, sadly, there weren’t enough entries. Much thanks to all who entered! It was great fun seeing your dreams come true in your new kitchens and we wish you much happiness in your remodeled spaces.

Please feel free to peruse the entries and leave your comments behind about what you love! There are some really inspired choices posted.

And don’t forget! Everyone who entered receives a 10% discount on a future order @ Horton Brasses! That’s in addition to whatever other discounts are available to you.

Again, thanks for playing along. And special thanks to our judges:

Jane F. & Allison from Attic Mag
Vincent from Scordo.com
Greg Henry from SippitySup!
Author and Designer James Swan
Kitchen Design Guru Susan Serra
Horton Brass Owner Orion Henderson

Although there is no winner…and no losers!…it would still be fun to get some feedback from our judges regarding the posted kitchens. And if anyone wants to send in pics of their kitchens after they use their 10% off discount, we will happily post on the company blog!

Again, thanks for playing along.

Marbelicious Old World Elegance with an Edge

In Uncategorized on June 2, 2011 at 2:48 pm

I’ve dreamed of a marble kitchen where I can BAKES my CRESCENT rolls in a
BEEHIVE of activity, family all aROUND on my island banquette. My English
heritage, from north of QUESLETT, led me to white Shaker-style cabinets; warm
wood floor and island top; sophisticated gray walls, and the sparkle from stainless appliances which will
stand ready to assist me in making family feasts. Hampered by a rat
infestation, serious family illnesses, and a decision to move the kitchen within
our home to meet our needs, our kitchen remodel is slowly taking shape from bare
studs to our fantasty–minus the bling some Horton Brasses hardware would
provide!

*We did not have enough entries, although there was a strong showing on the last day. While other entries were edited to fit the parameters of the contest rules, I am just throwing these last ones up in their entirety. Enjoy! –Deva

Sweeter Than Honey

In Uncategorized on June 2, 2011 at 2:33 pm

Horton Brasses hardware would make this kitchen even sweeter than honey. We don’t just look, we touch, and use, and live and breathe everyday here with children flashing through for meals on the fly or the whole big family squeezed around the table to share a wholesome meal. Our kitchen, the heart of our 100+ year old farmhouse, built on generosity, would love to showcase classic brass handles built to last and beautify for generations to come.
